Morris Island Boat Tour

Morris Island is unspoiled, undeveloped and undeniably the jewel of Charleston Harbor. It is approximately 4 miles of barrier island paradise, and you can't get there except by boat, helicopter, hot air ballon, whatever. But thats the idea! Solitude!
But thats only part of the charm. Since Morris Island is undeveloped, there's only a fraction of the people visiting there than any of the other public beaches nearby, making it the finest shell hunting beach in Charleston. Whether it's sand dollars and conch shells, or the thrill of finding that perfect shark's tooth, you'll find more goodies on Morris Island than anywhere else.
You''ll probably see dolphins, too.

Reservation receipt will be sent from noreply@indexic.net. If you do not see it in your inbox, check your junk mail/spam folder.

Join us on this 2.5 hour excursion. You never know, you might even find civil war relics, old bullets or even a pirates treasure- Arghhhh, which of course you'll have to share with us (think of it as our commision), or else it's Davey Jones' locker with you, matey. (Didn't Davey Jones sing for "The Monkees"? Why does he have a locker? Why are pirates constantly threatening each other with this?)

Not only is the scenery wonderful, but you'll see you share of birds, critters on the shore and everyone's favorite ocean creatures, the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin.

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Adventure Harbor Tours. No shows and late arrivals will not be rescheduled but you may reschedule a tour up to a day prior to departure.

While Morris Island is spectacular, it's not without its hazards . Stay out of the dunes, both for the sake of minimizing erosion and the effect on the wildlife, but more importantly for your feet! The interior of Morris Island is filled with brambles, sticker bushes, catcus and the occasional varmint. Also, there are no lifeguards anywhere out on the island, so swimming should be done elsewhere. As a matter of fact, the currents can be quite strong around Morris Island, so care is urged in water any deeper than your knees.

"MILD" Sunset Cocktail Cruise

So, this year, we offer to you on weekend and selected nights, a little more laid back option of our very popular Sunset Cocktail Cruise. It's still BYOB, and you're still encouraged to bring your coolers, but this 90 minute cruise around the harbor will be a little more narrated, a little more scenery oriented and a little more chill for those of you who don't want to be cooped up on a boat with 60 partying younger people. Don't get me wrong, I love to party too, but not 101 days in a row.
As we sail from the marina, we'll make sure to pass by the historic waterfront to view the beautiful homes, swing by the Battery, swing over by the big bridge and a fly by of the USS Yorktown before maneuvering back into the Ashley River to watch the sun go down. All this while relaxing to chill Caribbean sounds interspersed with fact and history about what you're viewing.
Bachelor and bachelorette parties are required to buy tickets for the "WILD" Cruise, as the "MILD" will be a guided tour, and chatty guests will be asked to be quiet and respectful for the consideration of other guests during narrated parts of the cruise.
Oh, and YES....We see Dolphins almost every night.

Charleston Harbor Cruise

New for 2017! Introducing the Charleston Harbor Cruise, 2.5+ hours of all the best sights, history and stories that Charleston Has to offer. Why "2.5PLUS" hours? Because the currents in Charleston Harbor can make the trip longer or shorter depending on the cycle.
It's 1/3 History, 1/3 taking in the sights, 1/3 trivia and 1/3 chill and cool while the wind blows your cares away. Whats that equal? I don't know, because I suck at math, but it definitely equals 100% family fun for all ages.
Dream about buying that yacht as we cruise by the Megadock, where the big boats tie up. Get a perfect view from the boat of the Battery and White Point Gardens; and, by the way, its a vista you simply can't get while you're on land. Marvel at the size of the Ravenel Bridge and the history of the USS Yorktown along with the other ships moored with her at Patriots Point. Then, we'll motor towards the mouth of the harbor to view the Forts, including historic Sumter, where the American Civil War started. Atlantic bottle nose Dolphins are frequently sighted (almost every day) and we'll stop to show off everyone's favorite river inhabitants.
In between stops we'll be playing great music, so kick back, enjoy the ride, and come on along to tour the Harbor with us!

(Restrictions)

Please, for the consideration of others, please keep talking down to a minimum during the tour. In between stops, dance, jump around, whatever you like, but please be mindful of others trying to listen.
Charleston gets HOT in the summer, feel free to bring drinks and snack, water and soda will be available for sale on the boat.

On our 45m journey out to the island we'll show off and tell you about some of Charleston's scenic views as we head past the historic district, Ft. Johnson and Ft. Sumter. Once we land, take a stroll on Morris Island and search for seashells and sharks teeth during the countdown and then watch the eclipse occur from the south end, with nothing to block your view. Once the eclipse has ended, we'll hop back on board and leisurely cruise back to the marina while we play some chill tunes. Pack your cooler and bring your own adult beverages for this BYOB boat ride. That is, unless the world ends during this event, in that case, none of this really matters.

Eye protection is strongly encouraged for the eclipse, and is not furnished by Adventure Harbor Tours.
