Indexic, Inc. and Traveler of Charleston Magazine have teamed up to expand the Traveler of Charleston website to include the option for visitors and locals to purchase tickets for tours and attractions that advertise on the site.
The website will utilize Event Book Manager, the event management service offered by Indexic, to manage and sell reservations. Event Book Manager was created by Mt. Pleasant residents Mark and Barbara Fox, and is currently being sold in the southeastern U.S. tourism market.
Traveler of Charleston Magazine, founded in 2005, is one of the leading visitor resources in Charleston. Traveler of Charleston’s print publication is available in area Visitor Centers, hotels, resorts, in beach rentals and high-traffic visitor locations throughout the city. The Traveler of Charleston website averages 10,000 visitors per month.
“We think that working with Traveler of Charleston is a natural progression for us,” Indexic Director of Sales and Marketing Sarah Ragsdale said. “Event Book Manager was built with the Charleston market in mind, and we are excited to be able to share this tool with area tours and attractions to boost their sales. We believe that it will increase revenue for these companies and offer another great option for folks planning to visit the Charleston area.”

Ticket sales on the Traveler of Charleston website will begin February 7.
